Reminder Membership 2010
This notice is to remind the members
to renew their memberships for the year 2010. Fees, preferably with
a completed application form, must be submitted before the due date of
January 31, 2010 to gain credit for one full year of membership and to qualify for
voting rights as well as to take part in the triennial elections of the Halton Islamic
Association, next to be held in 2011.
Any submissions received later than
January 31, 2010
must be accompanied with a valid reason to qualify as a
member in good standing.
Aside from the fact that a larger
membership reflects the strength of your Association and of the Muslim community,
it also offers a great opportunity to have your say in the running of the HIA and
also serve the Muslim community as an elected member of the HIA Board or the standing
committees such as the Muslimah, the Education and the Election Committees.
Either as a new member or if you are renewing your membership,
and your particulars such as the address or the telephone number have changed, please
submit your membership fees with a completed application form for the Associations
records to be kept updated.
You can hand in your fees with the application forms either
to members of the Election Committee, namely Brothers Javid Hakim, Abdul Hamid or
Emad Hamza or Br Salah El-Sohemy, the HIA Treasurer or place them in the “saddaqa”
box near the wadu area entrance.

First Khutbah: 12:30 pm
Second Khutbah: 1:30 pm _________________________________________________________________________
HALAQAH
Wednesday: Brother's Tajweed halaqah after Maghrib.
Sunday: Brother's halaqah after Fajr Prayer.
